TSA VISIT TO NIGERIA IS ROUTINE image

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) wishes to affirm that the ongoing Audit of the security system in place at Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos by America’s Transport Security Administration (TSA) is routine.

This routine exercise is hinged on safety requirements guiding flight operations in and out of the country which has been the practice between the two countries over the years. And as such, it is not on account of any security threats at the nation’s main gateway or any other airports in the country.

As a professional, responsible and responsive oversight Authority, we have nothing to hide. However, there are no security threats at Lagos Airport.
