The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has held the Regional Aviation Career Awareness Campaign (RACAC) in Lagos to sensitize and empower the youths for rewarding career opportunities within the industry.
The RACAC was kick-started in Abuja on Thursday, November 20, 2025, and will be replicated in Port Harcourt: November 27, 2025; Kaduna: December 1, 2025; and Kano: December 4, 2025.
The second in its series, held at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, on the 25th November, 2025, is aimed at addressing the pressing challenges of talent shortage, enhance growth and combat regional disparities.
The Director, Human Resources and Administration (DHR&A), Dr. Mrs.Anastasia Gbem, represented by the Deputy General Manager, Training, Mrs. Ahungwa Kanma, stressed the importance of the programme by the NCAA to promote aviation awareness and foster knowledge in the light of deepening manpower crisis, lack of adequate training, mentoring and structured succession planning across all levels of the sector.
