NCAA COMMENCES TRAINING ON CONSUMER PROTECTION PORTAL image

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has initiated comprehensive training for its officers on the Consumer Protection Portal to expedite the resolution of consumer complaints within the aviation industry. This automation of consumer protection processes, a key initiative of the Capt. Najomo-led administration, aims to provide air travelers with the ability to file complaints, monitor airlines' on-time performance, access self-reported data on case resolutions, and promote ease of doing business, as well as enhance data collation, accessibility, and transparency.

During his opening address, Mr. Michael Achimugu, Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection (DPA&CP), expressed gratitude to Capt. Najomo for championing the realization of this legacy project. Mr. Achimugu also recognized the pivotal role played by the ICT Department in shepherding this initiative from its inception.
