NCAA Certifies Lagos, Abuja International Airports image

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has re-certified the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA) Abuja and the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos.

The Acting Director-General of Civil Aviation, Capt. Chris Najomo, presented both certificates to the Managing Director/CEO of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Olubunmi Kuku, during a brief ceremony at the NCAA Headquarters in Abuja.                                                                        Capt. Najomo stated that the recertification of the airports, after meeting stringent conditions, marks a significant milestone in aviation safety and security. The previous accreditation for both airports expired in 2020.
