KEYAMO COMMISSIONS NCAA FLIGHT DATA CENTRE TO ENHANCE SAFETY OVERSIGHT image

The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Mr. Festus Keyamo (SAN), has commissioned the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Flight Data Analysis (FDA) Centre to enhance aviation safety.

The grand commissioning of the centre, another legacy project of the Acting Director-General Civil Aviation (Ag. DGCA), Capt. Chris Najomo, took place today, Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the Authority's corporate headquarters in Abuja. 

Key benefits of the FDA centre to NCAA include enhancing safety oversight, regulatory compliance, incident investigation, operational performance monitoring, trend analysis and risk management, improving stakeholder collaboration, cost 
savings and efficiency and global credibility.

The project, built to serve as safety data bank, was facilitated by the Directorate of Special Duties led by Mr. Horatius Egua.
