INTRODUCTION. A continuous maintenance programme combines the maintenance and inspection functions used to fulfil an air operator/applicant‘s total maintenance needs. The Nig.CARs Part 9 specifies that each operator/applicant must have a maintenance programme adequate to perform the work and a separate inspection programme adequate to perform the inspections. This chapter provides a background, definitions, and procedures for evaluating an operator/applicant's continuous maintenance programme.
