This Advisory Circular (AC) describes the process of applying for and obtaining an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) to conduct commercial air transport operations under the Civil Aviation Regulations. The certification process may appear to be a complex undertaking, particularly to a “first-time” operator. This AC provides basic information applicable to the certification process.
