Mr. Aminu D. Tasiu
Mr. Aminu D. Tasiu is the General Manager in charge of the Authority Internal Audit. Born on the 19th December, 1965.
He attended Kano State Polytechnic for his Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy and Finance in 1986 and after that, moved on to Bayero University in Kano for Post Graduates Diploma in Management in 1993. He had his Master Degree in Business Administration at Bayero University, Kano in 1996.
He joined Office of the Auditor General in Kano State from 1987 to 1990 as an auditor. He later moved to Kano State Hospitals Management Board as Principal Accountant from 1990 to 1996, He work as Assistant Manager in Muktari Dangana & Co in Lagos State from 1996 to 1998, from 1998 1999 he resumed I.A.A Associates (P.T.F DRF Zone 3) office as Manager of the company, from 1999 to 2001, he moved to Dangote Textile Mills, Kano as manager.
He joined Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) as Principal Purchasing Officer in 2001, He later became Assistant Chief Accountant in 2004. In 2010, he was promoted to the position of Chief Accountant. Mr. Aminu Tasiu was later promoted to the level of Assistant General Manager of Finance and Accounts in 2010. Between 2019 to 2020 he became Deputy General Manager of Finance and Accounts until his promotion to the level of General Manager in Finance and Accounts and made the head of Audit in January, 2021
Mr. Aminu Tasiu is a full Member of Association of National Accountant of Nigeria (ANAN), Fellow Certified National Accountant (F.C.N.A) 1996, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria – Associate Member (ACTI) 2006, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered Member) 2006, Institute of Certified Fraud Examiners, U.S.A (Acfe) 2020
